The (National Centre for Nuclear Robotics) NCNR project is funded by UK EPSRC, project ID EP/R02572X/1, to a total of £11,588,431. Stefan Poslad is a co-investigator for this. His contribution focuses on the use of non-visual sensors, e.g. Lidar, to determine the locations and activities of robotic and humans (in mixed environments). The NCNR Project is led by at QMUL by Prof. Kasper Althoefer who is principal investigator, and heads the Advanced Robotics lab, at QMUL (ARQ).
